COLOR RUN

 

We are doing the Color Run.  This race is super fun.  Do a 5K and get covered in bright colors.  Trust me you'll enjoy it.  Current Cross Country runners and past are welcome on our team.  Coach Barney will be there as will team captain Bailey.  JOIN US!

Champiosnship Results

WOW! All our reps at the Championship Meet did wonderful.  This was a tough competition.  There were 77 runners for the boys and 78 for the girls from 3 different regions in Utah, encompassing much of the state.  What an achievement to have four runners competing among this elite group. Congratulations to Aubree Covington, Cece Burridge, Tiffany Brailow and Jonny Vizmeg for individually qualifying for the Championship meet on Tuesday at Big Cottonwood Park.  Hopefully many team members can make it to cheer on our representatives.

Unfortunately we didn't qualify as a team, but so many of the team PR'd (Personal Record) that there is much to be proud of.

How we make it to state

The top 3 girl teams and the top 3 boy teams at regionals can send 7 runners and 2 alternates to the state competition.  From the remaining teams the top 5 runners (total not each team) may also compete in the championship race the following week.   Some have been asking how to qualify.  Hope that clears it up.

Regionals for ALL runners

I am so pleased to announce that after talking with other coaches and the Regionals host school it has been determined that ALL runners will participate in Regionals.  I can only offer my apologies for announcing yesterday that entries would be limited.  This is no longer the case.  I will announce to students at practice today.  As a recap about Regionals:
